Let me Explain! Why my airplane is still down

My airplane is still down for maintenance, and in this video I explain that the problem is lifter spalling and what we're doing to repair the airplane. There were some shipping delays and other reasons. In doing research for this video and the repair, I'm finding this is not an uncommon issue on CM engines, and there is a "Service Information Directive SID05-1B" from 2005 and updated in 2016 that explains how to inspect the engine for this sort of abnormal wear http://www.tcmlink.com/pdf2/SID05-1B.pdf

WHOA! Fuel Flow is really low. Flying in the evening and at night.

In this video, I take an evening flight around the valley and realize I had the engine management system automatically reconfigure itself based on fuel load, which changed the K-Factor causing the flow to read really low.

The K-factor is a constant, referring to the number of measurable pulses required for a given volume of fuel to pass through the point where flow is being measured.

I discuss flying in the evening and at night
