so I began painting in photoshop again today, and this is what I have so far, it's a wheel with a 6 spoke rim. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to put it on yet, possibly a racecar or some such thing I'm losing my ability to see straight currently so I'm going to take a rest. Seems I need a better tablet and steadier hand. Using photoshop like this is really more like painting than drawing, in either case, I need more practice.
Here is one of the few times I've been able to capture an image of Melissa when she's not hiding from the camera or getting mad at me for pointing it at here.
She did such a good job on this baby shower and it was such a success
More images are coming soon from this event
So I'm sitting here working from home on this conference call since 8:30 this morning for a vendor demonstration and it's about the most painful presentation I've ever been in.
This "Security Incident Event Management" solution seems more like vapor ware then any enterprise ready product. They keep stating, over the next couple of months.
Because of this I started playing with some of the photos from this weekend's party.
Here's a picture of Jen from this weekend.
Here are some pictures from my birthday "potluck".
I had a really good time, and am glad for all of those who were able to make it.
For those of you in the Silicon Valley who think I'm too far away, please keep in mind that Stefano and Jen live up in the Santa Cruz mountains, and Matthew came up from Merced.
Looks like this beard isn't coming in very cleanly, time to go ahead and take it back to just the Goatee/Van Dyke from my site picture above. New images coming soon.
The new camera shutter remote is working great, it's not to have the half-press focus and shutter release on the same button. Only problem that I see is that the remote receiver is designed to sit in the hotshoe, but the remote transmitter for my strobes also sits in the hotshoe and neither of them have a second shoe for the other.
Since the transmitter for the strobes actually uses the shoe, this thing is going to hang loose.
For $11.00 on Amazon, and the fact that it actually works as designed, I'm not going to complain too much.
I used to have an iPhone, and would play this game with friends and strangers as well as my wife. Back in September, I switched to the Samsung Captivate Android based platform, and this is the only app that I wish was ported when I switched. There was an announcement that the app would be coming to the Android platform.
Well, my wait is finally over. I just installed "Words with Friends Free" from the Android market published by Zynga with friends.
Today, I just finished installing a brand new content management system. I converted the template from my old content management system to this new one and have ported all the old content over.
I like this engine because I can create permalinks to content, and change things around without losing those links.
I'm also hoping that Google will auto-generate the "site links" this time as I have things laid out in a more uniform fashion where links are under they categories for which they belong.
